What happened to my other thread? For that matter, what happened to my other registration? :D
Got any rejects laying around? GPU, CPU, or chipset? Even something that needs repair would be ok. I have an ac/dc tig rig so I can plug holes, build up low spots, rebuild mis-cuts, etc.

FYI guys when I was in Vegas I learned that the original poster of this thread loonym, who was long time XS member passed away after a long hard fight with bladder cancer :(. Sad story that I heard about him.
He was asking me for banged up pots right before he took a real turn for the worse and not once did he mention in a pm or email what he was going through or dealing with. That's a real man right there. Just like Orlando(01' legend ojdr2001 who recently passed), not a peep about it. If I had known, I would have sent him a brand new F1 for free to play with in his last days no questions asked. Feel sorry I didn't get the chance to do that now... RIP man :( :(

Ah well that sucks like hell.
Boss, I'm sure we can get together a lot of crunching power between the team, right? Please look here (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=242543)

oh my god. i haven't been on the forums so long that this just completely blew past me.
i didn't know him very well, but we've had a few occasions to discuss things privately, and he was always the most gracious person I've interacted with on the forums. I have great respect for someone who has such a sense of human worth that permeates even online interactions that this man had, and I'm deeply saddened by his passing. I can only hope that he was and is aware of the value he represented in this community.

Vince,I just saw this.
Jon Magoon(Loonym) passed on December 28,2009.
I met him twice in 2009. Just a good guy that liked his benching and the DC work.
I was at his house in August to bring up a dual stage that Gomeler had assembled.( Kudo's to Chris for that one, long story)
Jon was about 45, has a 3 year old daughter named Annabelle.
He said to me in November 2009 that he just was hoping to make it thru Christmas with her and he did.
The guys at XS are going to do a little collection this fall and I'll make the drive to Ellsworth,Maine to meet with the people who have adopted her.
( The State of Maine set everything up beforehand so that Jon's wishes for her would be done)
IF anyon'e interested in kicking in on this let me know.
Can't bring back her Dad but maybe we can take her mind off his not being there that day.
Thanks,
Dave

Movieman, well I think if you could be her "uncle" it would very good opportunity to keep up memory about Jon. It's not a joke, it was not my time when he help all those people but I think Annabelle should know how good her father was and maybe someday she also will be DC user and will help next generation in fight with cancer or other diseases.
