Many times I have spoken to my friends from other countries overclockers as it is difficult to obtain high quality hardware, due to having the world's most expensive customs taxes, duties and fees.
For example, a video card that costs $ 500 at newegg, and legal fees, in my country, it costs at least USD 1,000 and often cost 1200 or 1300.
Liquid nitrogen at U$ 6 a liter .... a 30 liter dewar for U$ 3000 or more ...
Anyway ... everything is very expensive, but we are already accustomed to having to face these problems.
But I can not understand is what I will now explain to you this bizarre story.
In early September I bought two units of the incredible Pots Tek 9 Fat New edition from Kingpincooling ... and of course the perfectly Pots were sent to my address ....
The two beautiful units, with the design of a machine gun stood in the Workers of the customs of my country.
They claimed that why I was importing accessories for machine guns??? and sent to the Department of the Army of my country ...
I was subpoenaed to testify and explain why I am importing accessories for guns illegally.
I have sent all the explanations, but after 4 months still have no positive answer of what will happen.
In my country, taxes and the attitudes of supervision may vary according to the humor of workers from customs.
Unfortunately I do not know the fate that will have your order ... but I'm increasingly disappointed with the difficulties that we find here.

I had some problems with customs in Poland when my pots from Vince arrived from Taipei but I managed to get my package in ~ 14 days.

I'd say KP should not put the name "Tek-9" on the package info. We all figure these guys are idiots, but if you have no idea what "a thing" does and it says Tek9 (http://www.realinternetmafia.com/images/tek9.jpg), it's normal they'll investigate it.

I got hold-up at customs when traveling back from UK to Belgium a while back for the same reason. Customs didn't know what it was so they had to investigate.

So sorry your still dealing with this Ronaldo :(. I can't believe there isn't someone over there to realize that this is nothing like a gun. Totally ridiculous , sounds like they are just shaking you down for duties man. If there is anything I can do on my end to help you get this resolved, please let me know. Just ask them to do a web search on KPC/TEK9 terms and then they will see whatsup. Really hope u can get this resolved and get to start using your new units Ronaldo, can't wait to see them in action in your hands :up:

I just have a Old Tek 9 Fat and just amazing.... I am using still the smart customs guys noticed there are not a weapon to kill Bin Laden or our president...lol
I am working hard to get the 2 Pots... Just explained and show lots of sites and pots...
I think they are not guilty to have no skill to know the diference of a pot and a machine gun..
....
