Hi friends from KPC...
I really need some help with a information...
I killed my HD 7970 after bench,...and no one more voltage...realy burned...
I got another one...and unfortunately, when I did try to remove the shim, I removed a lit component.

Thats here

So I did take the same from the killed card...but... OMG... It fall down and i could not find never again.
:(
Please I would like to know if there are another one in the card that I can replace my loosed part.
If somebody can show me, and the correct side... I can remove from my killed card and replace to my new card.
Thanks for all friends here

Best regards from Brazil

Sorry, I have no clue what that is, but please accept my sympathies for your bad 7970 luck. I hope you get it sorted!

I just replaced and works fine again....
Is really hard to put this tiny component... having to hit eight tiny dots of solder to attach the component ...
I chose a symmetrical who was on the other side.
It was very good.
Thanks for all

Just as an aside, I knocked two of those off of mine and it still runs perfectly as far as I can tell. Haven't tried it cold but still runs the same clocks on air as it did before
