He does not need gifts, and certainly has everything he needs and even more, but I would like do a tribute to those who consider the greatest of the masters and one of that most contributes to the overclockers community.
In two situations everyday ... Modding a plate and in action with ln2

Please shammy, do not be angry with me.
I have no intention to offend, so if you think I should not have posted, please sorry and delete the topic.

I don't think he will be angry, at least I wouldn't. :)
However Shammy is for sure a great role model for any extreme overclocker: Talented, motivated and skilled but also - and this is something you can't cherish enough - willing to help others and share his knowledge. The OC community wouldn't be the same without him. Keep it up, Shammy!

btw when I think about Shamino three things come into my mind: messy cascade and setups, AM3 100K (it's almost 8 years already!) and freaking modding skills :D
(Does anybody remember the overclocker videos at OCX so many years ago? What I can recall ist that there were one with Crotale and one with Shamino and that I thought these guys are awesome.)

I first heard of Peter many years ago when I came across a link to a 50MB download of this young guy down in what looked like a cellar with I think 2 refrigerator compressors hooked together.
This was I think sometime between 2002-2003 but may have been earlier.
The vid was dark, the noise from the compressors almost drowned out what he was saying but here I was over 50 fascinated by this young kid and what he was doing.
Peter became one of my heroes in the hobby.
I finally got the chance to meet him at the Xs CES party in 2010 that was at the F1 track in Las Vegas.
Most of you guys that are older will understand that most times you meet people that you put up on pedestals your let down as the person doesn't come up to what you expected but not this time.
I'm standing in line to register and all I hear is "Davey"
Now keep in mind that no one's called me "Davey" since I was 5 or 6.
I turn and here's Peter with that smile that covers his whole face.
I wanted to hug the guy but I swear I was afraid I'd crush his ribs.
Spent app 1/2 hour with him and God's truth, what you see is what you get.
No BS, no ego, just a nice guy.
Then later that night I got to see him work and the intensity in those eyes.
One of the nicer people I've had the pleasure to meet in my life.
Now Vince won't remember this as he was in those go carts 99.9% of the night but for me it was one hell of a night.
Thanks Peter for being who you are and I still owe you a good dinner if we can get together sometime.;)

Thanks rbuass those are some great drawings, you're pretty skilled in cartoon drawings.. if there be a chance in the future , a laid back bench session with you would be cool to have. (those who benched with me will prolly call me a hypocrite, im never laid back when benching :D) )

You really earn many more than a draw... feel happy you liked.

No sham is always pissed while benching. Specially with Gatman. He tends to cut VRs mid bench. :D

I hear Gatman is all kinds of pissed off looking when benching too. They make a good pair. :p

too add, the existence of extreme overclocker in Malaysia is contributed by shammy. he is the one who encourage us to try LN2 by "FEDEX" us a pot. and after that, the WR pot became a present to us. and there continues the extreme overclocking here in Malaysia. although in a very small scale. we are truly grateful :D
