It looks like plastic, so i am gonna go with that it has hidden cutouts for DVI ports, so that it works as a mounting bracket for you card :D
It does make me wonder why it has "or Nvidia symbol" allmost makes you think its from amd for fighting off the hordes of nvidia users.

you will be dissapointed, GK110 is not gaming GPU, only profi-GPGPU machine :(

I can't wait to see some results. Will those quad up and work? (octo-SLI?)
Bobnova

Doubt it, only one SLI connector.
Horrendously expensive characters, I was amused to see five phases on that despite only four being on the 680.
I'm looking forward to results :D
Finally got few hours to start playing with GTX 690.

Test bed:
i7 3960X stock 100%
EVGA E779 X79 CLASSIFIED
EVGA GEFORCE GTX 690
TWO KINGPINCOOLING TEK9 GEMINI
EVGA NEX 1500W
Easy run, both GPU VID's set to 1.385V, everything rest stock.
easy temps -40..-50°C on both GPUs with this voltage allow to get 1450-1500MHz in 3D11 P.
Seems capable, to be pushed moar :)
One card first, then if I get what I want from it, quad action with two :)

EVGA NEX 1500W pics? info?
You can see pics of these special pots in this thread above ;)
They was designed and manufactured initially for GTX 590.
We have PSU thread too :)
Today I took my camera with me :)
So here we go, card itself.
No serious mods, no zombies, just reference with 1.45V VID bump and monitoring wires.

Hit 1.6GHz on GPUs with -70c today, but system was not cooperating, so will retest for proper score next days.

How did you increase vGPU? Did you disable power limit as well?
VID mod, same way as described in "Uncork guide for kelper 680".
For power limits fooled sense curcuitry, described in guide too.

let me give you hints:
1. TiN
2. Kingpincooling
3. Evga
4. Vcore
Yes way lol
Hondacity, I did not get yours post. ?
I was testing card, not Z77, so just left cpu on easy clocks.
EVGA Z77 FTW have no problems to max out Ivy, including memory 3+GHz on air. If you have something to say, wait for Vince's related thread, don't clogg 690 topic.

Excellent work Tin, would SR-2 with 5690s show improvement over the 3960X? Not sure how those CPU scores would relate.
