Have you tested another cpu in board? check for bent pins, where are you located? if in the states i can help u with RMA

EDIT****** just noticed your in norway.... still check for condensation, or bent pins...... possible bad cpu also..... double check psu also

Alot of guys have had issues with the bios chips coming loose might want to double check that as well.

Tried with lower CPU/IOH/QPI PLLs ?
Sometimes they help lower the CB/CBB :)

Tried lowering and uppering all of them, will try more next round :)

Try as low as 1.1V & 1.2V for all 3.
Oh, and after approx 30 minutes of benching, check again for CB & CBB, in some cases they get better ( lower ) after a while.

I dont think its dead, because im using it right now in my 24/7 rigg.
Its just says "FF", then i heat up the pot and its good to go again. Then maybe my system crash, and i have to heat the pot up again...
The CPU can't die every 20 minutes, can it :D?

Thats typical.. Both my classy's do the same and its different with each cpu..
-80 with 920D0 no matter what..

I find with my W3570 it all depends if I need to change BIOS settings.. If I don't I can boot up at -120.. So I just need to make sure the BIOS is right and then jump into Eleet..

Check out Shammy's method of testing on the Gulftown and it will give you some good base settings on how he clocks with the Gulftown.. You can use the same boot settings and build from there.

I really wish there was a mod to get rid of the CBB... Just ordered my P55 Classy.. and have 2x 670 ES chips on there way.. hopefully I won't have to deal with the CBB for a little while at least not as bad as the X58...

Looks like my board is dead now... FF as soon as I hit power.. I have noticed that my ram volts has been drooping like crazy... Going to have to RMA now... :(

Tried 2 processors known to be working.. and its always FF.....

This sucks... now I have to wait for my new 670's to come in... not til the end of the week.. I am going to have to sit here and admire my P55 board.... :(

Its definitely the board in my case... I put a new chip on SS phase.. was working fine..
The next morning went to boot up and straight to FF.... Luckily I have a bunch of CPU's and boards... so I was able to troubleshoot what it was... I am going to miss my 4sli... My P55 is coming tomorrow.. but not expecting my chips til the end of the week...

My cascade is going to be delivered on saturday... man the anticipation is killing me....
And I was going to grab some LN2 today... IM sad...

Wow dude i have a bad feeling you will be pretty upset as i have owned 3 classi boards they rock but FF is just part of the game with these boards it can be caused by so many things bad pot / cooler mount, condensation, loose bios chip, and the worst is !!! it just really hates you and doesnt want to play tonight bug, aswell as many others i.e bad cpu seating, bent pins, loose cpu power connectors.
So i doubt it was your cpu thats causing FF error.

My 4x classi does seem alot better than my e760's tho, only at an event it did the classic FF CBB to me because i was trying to show people how much it rocked ....... hahahaha . Lesson learnt next time tell them how crap it is and i will probably break a WR hahahaha.

The thing is they are such an awesome board that you just take the nightmare they can be because when they are on FIRE they ROCK !!! p:D:up:

hmm i had the same thing steponz but reseated cpu put 1 stick of ram in and cleared cmos and it went again, but im sure you tried that. hope some good luck comes your way

Trust me I tried everything.. after my 4sli board went down.. this was my last chance for a while.... I sent the board right back and ordered another one.. should be here in the next day or two.. so this weekend its on....
