Well, there is some really bad news baz :( The single pcb 295 will require diff units I'm afraid man. I have been working on them for about 3 months already as they are COMPLETELY different that anything I have ever made or anyone else for that matter in terms of gpu unit design/construction.
I tried to make the 5.0 fit this card, but there are some major roadblocks like sli connectors, power plugs that are in the way. The only way to make it work is to put some kind of extension plate on the unit so it push the container far out from the card, but I am really uncertain about how much that would screw up the temps and the sli bridge is still very much in the way for two card operation.
just my luck i am trying to mount 4x pots now and i see exactly what you are saying
life is never easy
i will have to get something worked out
thanks any ho vince

Man this sux as I was thinking of getting two tec 9's for mine.
i have managed to get the tek 9s on the card now
however i have had to remove the power "in" plugs to the rear of the card
and make up some new mount brakets i will put up some images later

as you can see the sli connector is now blocked so needs a new bridge connector to be made up

That is bad-ass man! That is exactly what you need to do to make them fit that single pcb 295, and you did it! Most guys wont go through all that trouble, so that why the new revs.

@ vince i had looked forward to using the tek 9 so much that i was always going to get them on one way or another :)

only one mod for gpu vcore and measure points for both gpu's. since the controller is ADP3193A (http://www.analog.com/static/imported-files/data_sheets/ADP3193A.pdf) from Analog Devices, it's easy to set the desired voltages using dip switches for for vid map.
