yeah, cheating with pre-heat sink application insulation...bastard.

how did you end up doing the insulation on the sticks? any pics?

Looking forward to see some pictures! I saw Brian.Y had a picture of the pot at his 670 Sp1M run...but no frosty pics.

Havent had a chance to do it yet. The oven is only like 200 degrees or so so it may be possible. I am thinking of just vaselining the slots and putting insulationg around the sockets and between the modules.

use a hairdryer...it is much quicker.

I was going to coat the PCBs of the modules before the heat spreaders were applied. :D However have had to many other things to do at work.

Corsair should offer a conformal option (or as a standard) to all top-end DomGT sticks :D
