What i don't understand is why there isn't a port for the EVBot on these. Is the EVBot going to become worthless. It kind of sucks that they came out with this tool and there are only a few cards that it can be used on. I guess we are all suckers.

EVBot's primary function was to work with the Classified motherboards.. anything extra should be considered icing on the cake.

How can you say that when it has 3 inputs for gpu plus a mobo input.

All hardware eventually becomes worthless. If buying an evbot equates to being a sucker then I could say anyone who has ever bought any hardware for the sole purpose of benching is a sucker:D
regardless, we all know hardmods are the best way, any hardcore Ocer would agree:p

I'd venture to say we'd have to wait a while there Duke for EVGA to develope their custom version of the card if anything.
I don't think they've had enough time to develop a classified version if its even in the works. I do know they marketed plans to continue to have flagship GPU's EVBOT enabled.
As with all things, wait and see, EVGA has been great with bringing overclocker friendly innovations to marketplace, so lets see what they come out with.

Good points. I guess i've kid of missed the boat on the EVBot. I just bought mine a few weeks ago.

its still epic though imo, 5.5ghz for vantage cpu test then 5.85 for the game tests makes a huggge difference :)

Another approach
This is CAPMOD, too:)
The result?
I try it on the weekend:rolleyes:

Please report back on that. I've always wondered how bumping the caps behind the GPU would affect it. In theory it should compensate for the drop in capacitance at sub-zero temps. hope it works for you

Hehe CAL, that must have taken some time :)
Show us how it does.

I remember Sham did that to his QX9650 and it didnt seem to help clocks but maybe it will help on GPU.
