ok, i know you guys know about this and of course we wanna get it out asap, die casting mould for shell and all that always takes time.

It’s use is very simple and straightforward much like your mobile hand-phone. The beauty of it is that you do not need any software nor does it eat any system resources.
OK: Enter
C: Cancel/Backspace
Up: Scroll Upwards/Increase one notch
Down: Scroll downwards/decrease one notch
1,2,3,4: Profile Hotkeys

First Hook up the EVGA EVBot Enabled products to their respective ports on the EVBot. As illustrated, MB Port is for connecting Motherboard, VGA1, VGA2, VGA3 is for connecting to 3 individual EVGA Video Cards.
You do not need to have all 4 items but any one of those. For example you can just hook up to an EVGA Motherboard if that is all you have that supports this feature. Or just a Video Card supporting this feature.
Connect the EVBot to the ports on the Motherboard or Video Card. This is where it is located on the EVGA X58 Classified Motherboard:

Soon too:

straightforward operation:

http://a.imagehost.org/0760/5_21.jpg (http://a.imagehost.org/view/0760/5_21)

more interesting is opt booster

Opt Booster stands for optimistic booster. A CPU maxing out at 5.2GHz in a 3D Mark Run may usually be able to run 5.24GHz for short durations in between, so this Artificial Intelligence tries to max max your CPU.

http://a.imagehost.org/0806/6_30.jpg (http://a.imagehost.org/view/0806/6_30)

There are 10 levels of preconfigured Optimistic Booster, of course Level 10 is the most optimistic setting.

Here the CPU Host Frequency will go up 1MHz per 4 seconds and go back down 1 MHz per 4 seconds. Press OK to apply.

There is also a Custom Level:

Upon Entering you will see that you have the power to control the frequency to go up and for how long (in terms of seconds) and to go down and for how long (in terms of seconds).

:peek: That device looks great....
Very interesting ...ability to up and down clock for set amount of time
Also like that it can store profiles,,, very nice very nice :pcool:

how much control does it give you over VT1165?

Hey Sham, how is that about 4 seconds 1 MHz or more?
Is is like I want to boot @ 5GHz and then add 200 MHz for only 1 minute so I can do SuperPi and then get back to an stable system for the screenshot or something like that? Is this EVbot as good as changing BIOS parameters or could it crash like a software?

This sounds very interesting!

more than enough on the products designed for it.
maybe not ok with products not designed for evbot, hw strappings in order. ie, if you some how chain it up to a 4890 for example, you'll be stuck at 1.45v

not really you programme what mhz to rise for how long and down for how long and it runs thru the setting repeatedly till you press cancel. in terms of clockspeeds it is like a wave form depending on how u programme it.

like 5250, 5200, 5250, 5200, 5250, 5200 etc etc
you know theres no way your cpu can run the full run at 5250, but every other few seconds it can hold up

any new ideas for future just voice and we see if we are able to keep up.

a crash indicator that dumps a failure code?
monitor cpu amperage draw?

will it be plausible to force it onto a dual pcb evga 295 with a hot air station handy?

those two functions needs a small processor on the hw to decode and then the evbot can read it via the I2C interface. so maybe future hw.

u dont need hot air gun, just soldering of 2 wires if just vgpu (but only till ~ 1.4v or so), but other volts dont use the voltage OV IC we use on the EVbotted VGAs.

Is this gadget compatible with the socket 939 EVGA boards?:p

This is truly magnificent, should help in all benchmarks. Not to mention my fav. "benchmark": CPUZ validations:D

This has to be the best overclocking device I've seen, the others don't usually have much use but this does look well thought out :)

~ a month i hope or less , the die casting tooling for the plastic shell , adjustments to make sure buttons fit the shell and so on wastes time. if nobody cared about the shell then the bare pcb would already be out :D

Peter, how is the 4-way classy and running 4 gtx285s? pro's/ con's for future gpu's?
Can you just run one Evbot for the 4 GTX285 Classys or do you need 2 ?
You know if the Evbot comes with the 4-classy or gtx285 classys?
Shamino'd GTX 295 Classy coming soon?

That 4-way SLI Classified MOBO and GTX285 Classifieds looks completely NUTTERZ! [Pre-ordered mine cuz I have a sick addiction :) ]

Can only hook up 3 VGA's + mobo, so I think you need two for 4 285's.

will be great if you buy 2 :D but also actually u can program the volts for the 3 cards first then unplug one card's port and plug into the last card and progam the last, though a bit troublesome.
