my push for HWBot top 10 continued with some single and multi card 05 & 06 action. i can't thank William from MSI Canada enough for facilitating the 4 x R4890 Cyclone OC's. without him, the Canadian flag wouldn't have hit the top 10...thanks buddy :up:

...and a pretty poor 06, but one that hopefully will be improved very shortly. this was done after a very long night trouble shooting a nightmare session. but the 20 or so hours of straight work - basically starting all over - was still worth the crappy run p:D

What are you using for a bench top there? A piece ofcompressed wood with neoprene on top? Might have to go that route myself. Lovin the GPU set up with the heatsink hangin waaay out. Nice!

haha, as long as i have permission.

my bench platform is just as you described. 5/8" MDF and #6 /32 screws for standoffs. there are 3 nuts stacked to provide the standoff. i then have 1/2" sheet of armacell in-between the motherboad and the platform. this ends up being just slightly taller than the space afforded it, so there is a nice little bit of compression when the board is fully tightend to provide a perfect seal and insulation to the back of the board. it has been a wonderful $5 platform and lasted many generations of hardware. the best part is that when mount holes change, simply drill new holes in the platform as it acts as the back plate. just need new hold downs :up:

Congrats, very nice scores and clocks. I have 4-4890s I just need a good clocking i7, my poor W3520 just cant go that high. I am on the 3rd W3570 trying to find a decent clocker. I am about ready to try a 975... :D
