It has been an interesting weekend to say the least with the untimely death of my 295 amongst other things but here are some random results from the last two days....

First up was 4 4890's

I swear each GT took turns bugging low and I was lucky enough to even get this off. For some reason it seemed the higher I pushed uncore the more it would bug.....03 always gets me so bent out of shape:headshake:

Recently Chris came over to pick up some Ln2 and had made a comment that one of his HT threads was the strongest out of his whole CPU.....taking this and giving it a try I found that I indeed had the same "issue" and it definitely shows:up:

The next session was involving a X48 board and a Celly 356........(what a combo:p) Thank god the celly could boot at 5GHz on air and let me install windows as the board only goes down to 200FSBp:p

I had 7928MHz but found that the file was corrupted:(
Also had a 32M at 7755MHz but I formatted over the drive....very tempted though to recover it as it was a very unique running 32M at that speed.
The CPU had no coldbug and during the 32M run was at-174 under load. The board was limited to 2v, but I am sure that this cpu can break 8GHz if I had just a little more volts and the right board.

Well that is it for now as I was going to bench some single 295 but it decided it did not want to play anymore. I would use these mars cards but which I can only describe as driver issues they just look horrible in 06,05 & 03.

2x Mars? I've got bad news for you :( Selling both kidneys means you're gonna be hooked up to a machine for the rest of your life. Oh wait, are you gonna overclock that too? :D

Somebody help me, in the first picture I can only see three cards??

AWESOME work on the 356, that's MY kind of overclockingp:D

Dont stress the Mars cards, they were for evaluation purposes only.

@Karm

I paid $25 for that celly off a Sam @ OCX but never tried it until this weekend. Guess he wasn't kidding when he said I would have fun with it:D

I need to throw my 347 into a Commando soon, it topped out at under 6.4GHz under nitrogen on a DFI P35 which can't be right. Thanks for the motivation :D

yeah i've been interested for a while to see how low fsb chips perform on P45 platforms.

I can imagine it's probable that they simply don't clock as well as on P965

Glad to hear the HT threads did the trick for you. Did my HD4890 help with the 03 bugging low or is it not a card issue but uncore issue as you mentioned?
