Evga E760 classi
I 920
1333mhz value ram
800watts psu
OCZ vertex 2 30gb SSD
custom phase, i tweaked it for phenom 2 965be and this I7 can't seem to warm it up lol :D

Situation : 220*21 with mems at 880 is benchable in every bench i use --->1 notch higher FREEZE ftw...

used a lower multi-->i can go above 220 base clock without a problem
my mems doing 900/920 at cas 11 :D

So this leaves me confused as i don't know wheter it's the obvious, my mems that are limiting me or something else?

1.62V vcore
qpi link at 1.45V
vmem at 1.61V = 1.66V
cpu vtt at +250mv
cpu pll at 1.850V

Cpu temps never exceeds above -43°c it's stays at that no matter what bench :D

Any input is welcome, thanks in advance, it's my first oc in 3years lol

Have you tried increasing the PCI-E speed more, around 112-115 ?

Am i allowed to do that with a ssd? Can try that..

Ok i pushed the pci-e to 110mhz and also dropped the cpu vcore from 1.62V to 1.54V
i also left the memory setting to auto, wich results in a bad cas ofcourse.
I left qpi at auto, many voltage settings that i altered before, i left them at auto.
It seems with result.
Almost 4800mhz now benchable :)

So this got me questioning, wich setting is the reason for this +200mhz increase? And what's the reason behind this?

Thanks guys!

Go back to the original settings that gave you trouble, push the PCI-E up and see if that is what helped. Only change one thing at a time until you find what is helping you.

I know, but it has to be a voltage option anyway :D

OR my mem.. cause when i get around 4808mhz my windows starts to get shaky :D

Anyhow i will find out :)

So many factors to keep in mind, i changed allot of settings togheter cause i've read somewhere that less could be more..And it seems that it does.

Btw the Pci-e raising had 1 disavantage--->9500Gt dislikes it lol :D

if you don't try it, you don't know it

Played with LN2 today and it was obvious that this old C0 step 4 has not been made to shine...LOL

Could only push out +-4800 for 3dmark benches and a little above for superpi...
Cb at -90 tripple channel single channel -99
cbb at -30

Os gets flaky at around 232bclk..

posting pics and vid later :)

the positive thing about this bench was the LN2-->10liters for 15$ :D
