nothing like vince and andre's extreme rig pic of course.

The one thing i wanted for the VGA was to have the heatsink for pwm and NV I/O chipset individualised, im tried of buying small heatsinks to fit a ln2'ed card

The features on that 285 are amazing, keep it up :)

Can VT1185 be controlled through a software interface, or will EVBot be the only way?

well Sham, if you want beautiful pictures, just send 'em my way. but i think you better send 4 x 285's just in case something happens to the other three in transit :D

both of these products are sick, just plain sick. stuff like this would not be coming from EVGA - or anyone for that matter - without you buddy

yes. at least I'm relatively sure that all of volterra's digital controllers can interfaced via I2C.

sham, mind citing some VT1185 specs? nothing you'll get arrested for of course, just the quick synopsis like they have for the few visible products on their website?

well volterra's naming is kinda confusing
so you have M, for master, thats the controller
then you have S for slave thats the slave which is the mosfets and the high-side low side and driver is all in that shiny little tile.
ok so basically you can chain up most any Ms to any Ss.
so theres VT1165m which is on most vga cards
then u have 1115M or 1185M which is on class mobo the only slight difference is just 1185 is vrd11.1

the S's differ qquite a lot
the 1165S is smaller package like what u get on gtx280 old rev ~ 25A-30A
then 1195S is same package size as what u see on 295 old rev ~35A
then 1185S that came latter than 1195S but is higher speced at 40-45A
but the vga team was a bit conservative so on class 285 you get ~ 35Ax8.
for class mobo we have bigger balls so 45Ax10

I wish all high end EVGA cards were built like that. Then more people would spend the extra money for them.

I really like that a very nice card indeed. Always nice to see some super great stuff that people have and is nice enough to share with people like me.
