Default Extreme help - 3770K weird overclocking

Hi people from Kingpincooling.
Is my first post here, and I know we can find the best overclockers and the best infos here.
I would like to know if somebody can help me with some information
Today, first time I used a 3770K to extreme overclocking.
All ready...BIOS 0078...Shamino's tips I got to my M5G...and 2 brand new CPU...
First CPU really disappoint me...
I used the 2 x LN2 profiles (ready in the BIOS)...did try and try...increave PLL voltage...decrease PLL voltage...increase VCCSA and VCCIO...decrease...and so on...but CPU only can work 106 x 59 CPUz...and run about 6250 Mhz Spi 1M and Pifast.
So....I went to second CPU...
CPU show me looks better...and I reached 62 X 106.5 CPUz...but CPU can not run Spi (instantly Black screen).
Did try and try, lots of diferent voltages, and so on, but is impossible to run Spi at 5900 Mhz. (I try 57x, 58x, 59x, 60x )
Weird behavior...CPU can reach ~6600 Mhz CPUz but can not run Spi and 2D benchs with 5900 Mhz.
Can somebody explain what can be happen??
Thanks all

P.S. I did try with lots of RAM settings...same I used to another crap CPU...so, I am sure is not a RAM issue, because I did try stronger and relaxed RAMs

Here's a new Bios released by the Master Shamino!

M5G 0086

Added SPI Booster option, enable to see if can boost superpi times slightly

Nice Chip Good Luck

sound like either bad mount, or using bad quality TIM

I have seen many good results with 0078 BIOS, and I believe is not a BIOS issue, but for sure will try this new BIOS ... thank you
@splave I used Gelid Extreme, and know about people removing IHS.
I really afraid to remove before to be sure is a great CPU.
If I am sure CPU can run strong benchmarks, will remove the IHS to try to get a lit bit more, but since CPU can not run 2D benchs at 5900...6000 Mhz, can be not a good idea.
Bad mount will be the last chance to the CPU; will try again, regardless I don't understand why CPU reached 6600 mhz but can not go more than 1 loop in SPi 1M (instantly black screen).

Thanks all

I'd rather see someone try lapping a good cpu to see if it gets better.

LApping is not the answer

Does it crash the system, black screen and restart? I had this happen on 2 of my CPUs, tested on 3 different boards, I took one IHS off and replaced TIM and can bench pi again past 6G, 6.5+ with this chip actually, similar to before.

What does ur delta look like when u tried it first and now? As in temp of pot vs core temp at bios defaults?

Thanks Mr. Dino
First I used the 2 pre profiles...
After, I did try low and high CPU PLL and VCCSA VCCIO.
The best run was
CPU PLL 1.7
CPU Vcore 1.92 (the max. I would like to improve a lit bit more, but M5G can not allow to go; so, if some hardmod is available, will help )
VCCSA and VCCIO (usually keep almost next to same value) 1.38 to 1.4V go better here.

So, you think I will need to remove IHS?
I am afraid to do, because to remove is easy, but to fit again can bring me problem.
I am not sure the best way to remount, but I saw people cleaning black rubble area to be clean and smooth and after to use silicon (OMG....lots of time to go dry).

Thanks for all

Update
Removed IHS
Change to Gelid Extreme
Same thing...no diference.
I would like to know if I have to do strong pression or not strong pression, because I used liquid type and did a good pression to be sure was be mounted, bot not diference.
I really think there are no solution, since CPU can do strong CPUz but can not run SPI, Pifast and 2D benchs and black screen in the first loop.

Thanks all again

sorry to hear that but it seems we had different issues. I'm assuming you've tested these settings (stable on lower temps). Try to slowly build it up to lower temps from stable 32M SuperPi at say -50C and then go for slow transition to full pot and see if it's got to do with temp which might be a few things but IMC a possibility, play with different bclock and ram ratios when colder if so
