9600GT galaxy VGPU mod

hey guys!

i have a couple of galaxy 9600GT's and they clock to 800/2000/1050 (1120) on 1 card

these 2 cards are slightly different from each other and even more so from the Voltmod found by CL3P20 and Pizzaman on OCN i believe.

now here are my cards:

1st card:

i get about 240ohms from the point that the pic from OCN's voltmod squad suggests. this does not warrant a 100k resistor. makes me think there is something else i need to do.


any insight guys??

what gpu pwm-controller?
this card?

i think, that pwm on gpu is bn-9g.... 14-FB, 4-GRD
anything else?

that is the card that you pictured, and yeah the PWM controller only has 4 digits on it.

the top card pictured is: BN-AK X04

the 2nd cards PWM is : BN-AB D17

don`t solder to contacts pwm, look to smd-caps and resistors behind FB and IMAX... what resistance to GRD on contacts, that I marked green/red?

IMAX = 15.07k

befre i put a 5k VR on the FB what does imax do?
