Have You tried to set to set DRAM Command Mode to auto in instead of 1 and tRFC to 72 or 74 instead of auto?

Also You might wanna try 1.25 ~ to the PCH

keep pushing it

Hi, I just finished my new build and I am stuck with an error code 58 for "CPU failed or cache failed to clear". I tried reinserting the I7-2600K CPU, clearing CMOS on the back of case, reinserting the two (24 + 8) power plugs, switching to different BIOS and nothing seems to help...ostensibly, that points to a CPU or a MOBO problem...is there anything else that you guys can suggest to clearing this problem and is there a way to isolate whether it s the CPU or the MOBO? Is there a chance the microcode is screwed up on the new B3 edition, if so does a BIOS flash help with that?

ASUS MAX IV B3
Corsair Dominator GT 2x4gb
I7-2600K
Noctua NH-D14
Cooler Master HAF 932
Corsair Pro HX 1000PS
Intel X25 SSD 120GB

thanks,

Chuck

did you try unplugging all power and clearing cmos jumper at the bottom above bios chips?

tried auto command rate and 72 and 74 as well as giving pch a ton of volts, no difference.

If that reply was meant for me, yes I tried unplugging all power and clearing cmos jumper at the bottom above bios chips. no help. I noted on page 3 where one guy got one error with his first cpu and then swapped to a second cpu and got the error 58 and then swapped back to the other cpu....is this MOBO so sensitive to any variables...does this point to coding or BIOS problems?

try loosening your cooler, or running single channel in outside red slot only

Is there a STT bios?

Splave im having the same issues as you do with my hypers not playing nice on my P8P67-Deluxe , i also have ST proj-X. They will run 6-7-6-20 1T ~ 933 all day long but i cannot get them to run 1063 even at 1.92v and 9-9-9-26 2T , i think a bios its needed to support this modules on Asus Boards , i have tried GT-2 Hypers and no luck so far :/

Hey guys:

I have done some hypers tetsing on M4E 1298 bios today. Both of my hypers, Corsair and Adata, are working well on DDR3 2133 CL7 1.8V. Corsair's timming works perfect on 7-7-6-21-60-1T, but Adata 7-8-7-21-74-1T.

Does it depend on how good hypers you guys have? Maybe my hypers are special kits from corsair and adata. Any ideas?

I share my bios setting for you guys.

Adata AX3U2200PB2G8-DP2

Corsair CMG6GX3M3A2000C7

Let me know if you guys found any timming improve hypers stablility.

Is your subtimings same for A-Data and Corsair? 1.8v is necessary for that? And A-Data couldn't run on 7-7-7 or 7-7-6?

Problem is, in my case, I can't run my CMG2000C8 at 9-9-9 2133MHz 1.75v, but same kit did 2200MHz 8-8-8 1.65v on R3E (triple channel). I know SB is better for memory OC as my PSC kit clocks at least 20-40MHz better at same voltage and timings on MIVE compared to R3E.

Dual channel is no go for MIVE, but for single channel it is working great. Also I'm on B2 revision if that has something to do with it and will post my settings in a few days
