massman's dream is for Wolfdale to get beaten in 01

Anyways that's awesome stuff Peter. The clock speeds aren't much of a shock to me because it's 32nm, and to put it in perspective, new product launches always bring exciting numbers.

But what's truly beautiful about this are the temps and voltages that you're using. That's what we want, the numbers in CPU-Z be damned.

well if it benches vantage at 5.9 it can likely bench 01 at 6.0. which brings up another question: what about clocks with HT/cores disabled?
Anyways, by production silicon we might actually see wolfdale have some competition in 01 at least, and certainly in 1M.

So Sham, does this chip exhibit any of the oddities associated with bloomfield like voltage holes and odd current behaviour?

Congrats and thanks for showing us this, Peter. Absolutely incredible. I'll start saving for this chip as asap.
