It's easy to remove.
Take a few big pieces with some tissue paper and some in-between capacitors/slots/tight spaces with a q-tip.

Finally, steal your girlfriend's hairdryer and use it to move the rest of the vaseline off your board ( hot setting, hold the mobo at approx 85* degrees vertically and blow hot air towards the edge of the mobo, the vaseline will melt and flow off the board ).

I can get my stuff clean and RMA-ready in less than 30 minutes.

Because I don't live in a humid country, if a couple layers of toilet paper, a layer of LET and some neoprene can't keep a component safe, it deserves to die for being so weak

Trying to clock this now under DICE, using a 22k VR and it puts it at 1.4v.

Can't run any benchmark as it's hitting OCP (Voltage stays at 1.4-1.42 during the benchmark but it only goes like halfway through). I couldn't do the cap mod because the electronics store here only sells 16v caps, could that solve it? The caps.

so put the voltage lower to not hit OCP/OVP, only 16v caps on 12v lines will not help much.

the best thing you can bypass OVP/OCP is zombie mod

The VR is turned all the way down

Should I use a higher rated VR?

yes offcourse, and turn it at max resistance.
then slowly raise it

Also need to know what stock Vgpu is before you start to raise it
