Default EVGA X79 Classified : help :)

Dear,

I have an EVGA Classified X79 since one week but impossible to bench or to boot @5GHz.
I have already tested the Asus R4E, R4F, P9X79 PRO and MSI BB XpowerII with the same configuration (cooling, memory, 3960x, ...) but here impossible to boot or benchs @5GHz.

I must make an error but impossible to see where
With other motherboard, i7 3960x is perfectly stable @5GHz with 1.45/1.47v

This is my bios with revision 029.
Thank you for you help !

lower multiplier, see what max is to boot, and set you're Bclock ratio to 1.25 or so.

Fool a little around, could be you're missing a important setting

New bios 032 but already many problems :
- impossible to bench 50x100 (np on R4E, R4F, Xpower2, ...)
- impossible to use memory > 1866MHz
- impossible to use an other strap 1.00 (error FC)

Actually max stable 4.8

Bios parametres... you see a problem ???

Parameters seem fine.

The max 4800 limit happens on some boards. Do you have the PLL override option? If yes, maybe see if the msi workaround also works on this board.

Yes Internal PLL Voltage override, I have choose enabled. If I choose disable, impossible to access OS.
It's possible sometimes to boot 40x125 but reboot during cpu stress.

Have you tried doing this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czA9iRda8I0

5) set 50x ratio, keep PLL override at enable
6) save settings and reboot

Now it should be possible to go in OS higher than before. Before I found this, my maximum boot was 4800. The I got 4900 by disabling the pll override, but 5000 didn't work straight away. Now I have 5000 by doing the trick described above. Maybe more (testing now //edit: 5200 boot in OS now).
Worked on GD65, didn't work on UD7.
