There are probably a hundred combinations of settings as good or better but this are the settings I use when overclocking on Gulftown/Bloomfield on the Classified E762 Motherboard. This first example is on Gulftown unlocked version:
So ok let’s do it from beginning. After mounting on a Pot, I boot up with these settings: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Here I’ve just highlighted 2 of the more significant signals. ![]() So then, I pull down the CPU’s temperature. At -60C (Depending on cold boot of your CPU), I change CPU Multiplier to 29x and VCore to 1.6v and save and exit. Then I go back into the BIOS again and pull down to -100C and change CPU Multiplier to 33x and VCore to 1.85v and save and exit. ![]() ![]() I go into windows at ~ -120+C and then bump up BCLKs more with ELEET. This worked good for me. Now of course that was with regards to a particular CPU. So next in line is more highlighting certain settings for BCLK Clocking. Round Trip Latency – The looser the better for BCLK up to a certain extent. Too high or too low = no boot / instability and range depends on Memory Frequency and Uncore Frequency. Easiest way to just boot at Auto, check the Auto Values and +6, or +8 to them. IOH VCore - ~ 1.425v to 1.45v may help in pushing BCLK -> Tied with QPI Signal 1 – the higher the voltage here, the Lesser you can set the value of QPI Signal 1 QPI PLL - ~ 1.425v to 1.45v may help in pushing BCLK QPI Signal 1 – Usually Lesser is better, But too low may not boot. IOH VCore @ 1.425v and -35 on this value can be a good combination PCIE Frequency – We all know that by now |

Sham--
Couldn't all these options attenuating signal impedances have been contributing to runaway leakage tripping in C0/C1 and D0 chips? |

Peter, still cool to run the x-cool jumper in extreme mode on air and prior to sub-zero?

Thanks for the share shamino, glad to see even more options for tweaking. Any chance these signal strengths can be used on a bloomfield chip? Or are they gulftown only settings? Will we see these options in a 759/760 bios anytime?

not possible as it requires hardware to control. |

oh or do u mean that these options aggravate tripping?

Sry to bother brother, you think I could image my triple boot (no chipset drivers, not activated) made with the E759 and use it on the E762?
Or should i just re-install the operating systems from scratch? |
