When pushing PCIE clocks (ie. BCLK) in Multi Card config, as long as BCLK is smaller than 113MHz, it may be best to set Gen 3 Preset under System Agent to Preset 3, whether in Gen 2.0 or 3.0

new cpu from RMA Intel, is giving post Code d0, swapped to a different chip and it went away so I swapped the "RMA" chip back in and reads d0 again....Can I assume it is dead? lol
I did notice that some vaseline got in the socket but I got it all out with air and heat. Also chip that was running 6.8ghz now has cold bug out of nowhere on second try, hangs 55 which I assume the mem controller does not like full pot now? Strange. Im sick of ivy already lol Last edited by Splave; 06-21-2012 at 09:31 PM. |

I had a chip only last a few hours and it stopped posting. So it's very possible.
