Default New CPU setting Guide on EVGA P55s

First of all download the bioses for boards

New A58 bios, with added qpi ratios:

E659:

http://www.filefactory.com/file/a20d...shtool_A58.rar

E658:

http://www.filefactory.com/file/a20d...shtool_A58.rar

E657:

http://www.filefactory.com/file/a20d...shtool_A58.rar

For E657/658:

E658

Settings:

Move the X-cool jumper to the right

Disable all the onboard unnecessary stuff.

The Above Signal settings are very important in lowering Cold Bug so go with those!

So what I do is boot with those settings between -60c and -80c.

well since the ncat is already outta the bag here arte the CBB mods:

659

658

657

nice, taking the MMouse Rev3 off to do the mod and the F1EE will be taking its place if there is no cold boot bug

Also, maybe a useful trick:

If for example I go set a crazy 300bclk and at this moment the cpu crashes, when you press reset, the clockgen is still at 300bclk and cpu is not moving and when cpu's not moving PCH will issue a shutdown. To get past this when it crashes I just use EVBot to set say 200bclk or something and after I have set it I press reset and cpu comes back again without the pch shuttin it down.
