On another note, have you ever seen videos of Shogun, Ninja, and Silva training at chute box. It's almost as intense as a real fight. Simply amazing those guys didn't have more training injuries than they did.

Honestly I'd say the beef is squashed long ago. Those guys were tight knit. I'd say it was more of a getting their feelings hurt thing. That saying about your sparring partners is true, but these guys went 100% in training. Not many or any camps will allow that other than chute box.

he needed to taste defeat.....he looked gutted....im gutted the haters are lovin it ....few years ago he would have slipped out of those locks....he even looked fatter than usual.....still had the striking but this maybe the end

i heard through fight sources that he was going to retire next year after the overeem fight anyway.

Fedor had ample opportunity to pull his arm out when they first went to ground, but opted to go for hammerfists. If you look at the way Werdum went to ground, he suckered Fedor in good and proper.

Mir proved to Lesnar that skill can trump power. But, I don't think either of the 2 fighters we saw in this fight would make it out of the first round with Lesnar or Carwin. Fedor looked tired and soft.
