4.8GT/s seems nice with 2:8

Nice work, but this Clarkdale IMC stuff and those rank/ rank to rank read delays are stinky (like 7.5ns read from the same rank eek!). I guess people just need to see it working though

i see raja i will test tomorow impact and the minimum that is needed.

That's ok man, thought that was the minimum it would work at . If you can get them down to under 10 that will be a tad better I think.

See if you can keep same dimm/diff dimm read/write delays tight at those speeds. Otherwise the impact is big I found (apart from 1M which is somewhat L3 access/associativity bound on the IMC side anyway).

haha, i was just letting you know on the progress i was making

i've got the new BIOS up and running and looks to be working as good as the other day when i was testing to find out what needed to be loosened, the only problem is that i can only get 800MHz + with 512MB graphics cards. The HD5870 absolutely kills the mem clocks.

i can't boot at anything over 185BCLK to 190BCLK, but if i set 200 then try to POST it hangs at 16...then i set BCLK to 180 on EVBot, it then POSTs at 200+. so if you are having trouble getting POST at higher BCLK, then try around 180. also, as Sham said, 4.8GT/s for QPI is a must for me to get the 2:8 to POST
