Live Chat Box

There are many free chat box's that can easily be installed, so how about a live chat box on the site?

It is likely to decrease the number of threads and posts if people can just ask quick questions in the chat box. That also means people with the same questions cannot search for the answer.

for the most part people do know, but i can speak from experience that while live chat thing is "fun" it can also cause important and awesome information to be lost in taht very chat that would otherwise be archived for later use in a thread or usable to someone who was not on the chat at the time.

This is definitely a good point. For people who arent online all day monitoring a chatbox, they could miss important info.

I do believe we are working on a single chatbox for all the video feeds, so everyone doesnt have to chat in separate feed chats.

Also, I will be on a little mini vacation for the next week or so, with limited internet access, so I wont be around as much!

Been there done that at another forum and it made people not post. Problems were being worked out in the chat instead of thread and too much info was lost in it.
