Duh!
![]() Haha, nah I've done the same - I sat there scratching my head for 2 minutes with a i7 965 wondering why it would never go above a 24x multi before figuring it out. Didn't post on kp forums though, that would be embarassing. ![]() Here's hoping you've got a better 655k than most. |

hey brian how are you bro?
First 1 I tested is a Q4MA L004B892. No CB, CBB -80c (think my ink mod on classy wore off?) Hits a wall at 6.25ghz for wpime 32m, tried up to 1.98v. Could maybe gain a couple mhz with a better mount. Also going to try a higher multi. Had 5L or so, so it wasnt anything too intense. ![]() Better than both my 670s and my 661, will have to play some pi soon, test the other 655k and 680

Is this a K-series only feature? That you need to have turbo enabled? NOT on any extreme chip?
My "weird" 870x didn't need turbo enabled on p55a-ud7... |

it's not a feature but something that bios needs to fix. GIGABYTE boards are the same....you have to enable turbo to be able to change multi in windows...it thinks its a locked CPU still and will get sorted in bios
